The New Labor Organizing Committee (NLOC) stands in solidarity with Kilusang Mayo Uno Chairperson Jerome Adonis, whom police attempted to arrest today in relation to actions conducted on May 1, International Workers’ Day. Other labor leaders, such as Working Women’s Movement Spokesperson Jacq Ruiz, have also been targeted with charges. NLOC condemns the repression of Filipino workers and their leaders, as well as all attacks on the National Democratic movement.
